I arrived quite early at the allotment

said hello to this lovely fella

and checked if the birds

had left something for me for breakfast

and got on with some hard graft

saw Anne being attacked by a sunflower

while unearthing

enough taters to supply a seaside chippy for a year

had a spot of lunch

and wondered why time flies when you are having so much fun

at the arm and a leg

I decided I would visit a different charity today

it's actually called "the arm", but I am sure the part of the sign which reads and a leg has been removed by the staff

still, I managed to find a couple of great bits and bobs which had managed to fly under the pricing radar

slowly

waking up with a cuppa

it is going to be a sunny day

back to school

and completely contrary to my teenage years when I spent my time at school; smoking on the school square (forbidden), dressed head to toe in black (not that great a style choice at my "jolly hockey sticks" school) and trying to miss as many lessons as possible without my parents finding out.

now if I could, I would spend the rest of my days at school

a random purchase at the flea got me out of florals (temporarily)

and back into one of my favourite books

always leaves me in complete awe of the extraordinary feeling for colour and pattern
