the colour of yellowing flower petals....

the man at homebase just stared back at me
and Andrew hid behind the power tools
I decided to look through the paint charts myself

my tea mug brings all the birds to the yard

it's better than that
because not only does it serve a perfect cuppa
it also has a birdwhistle to attract birds wherever you are and my porcelain paint mixer
is also "working it" on this desk collage kind christmas gifts from the creative and very witty junkaholic

the things you find

when you have a tidy

fruit, vegetables and herbal tea

is what I should be having after all those mincepies and chocolates

a collector of collections

during a mammoth tidy of what I call pretentiously the studio, but others might call the hoarding room of a mad old lady
I found this forgotten treasure someone collected these little wrappers which go around cigars and stuck them down in a book
I imagine a granddaughter or grandson? of someone who was told to stop smoking but who defiantly maintained that the cigars were actually educational... how else would you learn about the folklore dress of different nationalities? or about landmarks? Or even about filmstars? Obviously one would most certainly need to keep smoking smelly cigars for these reasons alone!

the yule blog

whether you celebrate the next few days singing hymns.... or perhaps you celebrate with light? who knows you might actually celebrate at a completely different time of the year by throwing coloured paint at each other? whatever you are doing
we would like to wish everyone a merry time
who knows you might even have some spare pennies left for your favourite charity?
